Clarisys builds loudspeakers based on the famous Apogee Acoustics ribbon speakers. After many years of optimizing the original Apogees, many ways were found to improve the original design, iincluding the removal of failure points in the speakers, structural rigidity, precision making ribbon drivers and using much improved parts over the original.
Clarisys offers newly built and machined speakers with unique features such as double sided bass ribbons, neodymium magnet structures, top quality crossover parts (example: Jantzen Superior Z, MultiCap and others) build from solid blocks of aluminium.
All speakers come with a 3 year limited warranty and ship in flight cases.
This model uses a double sided bass panel, which allows for more current to flow through the panel and react more accurate in the magnetic field plus being an easier to drive impedance. The ribbon midrange starts at 250Hz (-6db) and is a multi segmented 7 trace design with 42mm width! This is the widest ribbon midrange ever put into a speaker. The three trace ribbon tweeter starts at 5500Hz (6db) and plays open end. The entire speaker is very rigid and has no flex! The only parts moving are the panels, and nothing else! We use high quality copper foil internal wiring, point to point to ensure exceptional signal transfer and musicality. Each speaker weighs 210kg plus external crossover.
