The A1 bookshelf loudspeaker features a fully braced aluminum enclosure, beryllium dome tweeter, carbon Nanographene cone, and our renowned elliptical crossover.
The A1 enclosure is constructed using 3⁄8” thick 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum, similar to the enclosure developed for the Q1 and is available in an elegant brushed-aluminum, black anodized finish. An innovative internal bracing technique along with the most advanced damping materials makes the sealed enclosure incredibly rigid and free of unwanted mechanical resonances. The complete enclosure design of the A1 is evaluated in simulation using the latest FEA software along with physical testing to meet the uncompromising requirements of Magico for optimized enclosure rigidity, stability and to ensure benchmark acoustical standards.Ω

The inspiration for the new A3 was driven by the engineering challenge to create not only a full range loudspeaker that incorporates similar design philosophies found in higher-end Magico offerings but to provide an entry level category that is accessible to a new and wider audience of music enthusiasts.
The A3 enclosure is formed with machined 6061 T6 aircraft grade aluminum and includes a complex internal bracing structure that increases the stiffness and mass of the enclosure while minimizing overall resonance. A calibrated sub-enclosure provides an optimized environment for the midrange driver to operate within and without any interaction from the back wave pressure of the bass drivers. The black brushed aluminum enclosure is lustrous and stands firmly on a 4-point spiked outrigger base which provides perfect coupling to the floor for enhanced dynamic range.

The new A5 is a flagship A-Series model (3 way / 5 driver design) which incorporates the company’s first 5-inch pure midrange driver as well as enhanced midrange and bass driver cone technology. These new advanced cones achieve unprecedented stiffness-to-weight ratio, a key parameter that Magico has pursued over the past 15 years. The massive, sealed enclosure of the A5 is formed entirely of 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum, the same material and construction methods as in Magico’s acclaimed Q-Series. Complex internal bracing helps stiffen the entire enclosure and minimize unwanted resonances and colorations, allowing all drivers to perform with stunning resolution and dynamics. The A5 is finished in an elegant brushed black anodized aluminum with grilles available separately as an option. “The A Series has been a great success in reaching a wider audience,” says Magico’s founder, Alon Wolf. “The A5 builds on that success with a new 5-inch midrange of extraordinary musicality. And the A5 ‘plays larger,’ with powerfully extended dynamic range.”

The design objective was ambitious: create the most compact three-way S Series loudspeaker ever, with a size-to-performance ratio never achieved before. Everyone at Magico is proud to say: mission accomplished. The S2 is a three-way, four-driver loudspeaker engineered to punch way above its 132-pound weight in all areas of sonic performance.

The S2 is available in a generous selection of premium finishes: six Softec choices that are rich in color depth, smooth to the touch, and very durable; and six High Gloss finishes that are expertly polished to a lustrous shine with a clear top coat. The three-footer support system uses constrained-layer damping and premium materials for greatly enhanced sonic performance.

The knowledge distilled and technological advances gained in the M9 development have been applied to the new S3 which reaps the rewards of those monumental efforts. With new state-of-the-art R&D capabilities, Magico set out to redesign the S3 Mk II loudspeaker to achieve audible improvements in every parameter. With new enclosure, drivers, and coupling system, the S3 accomplishes far more than the initial design brief.
The technologies and construction techniques leveraged in the new S3 achieve a purity of sound and measured performance that surpassed all expectations. The new Magico S3 shatters the boundaries of performance for a speaker in its class.

The year 2023 saw the launch of the new-generation S Series. The first-of-its-kind S3 has since been heralded worldwide as a groundbreaking design. Magico’s 20th anniversary wascelebrated in 2024, and with it, the new S5 loudspeaker continues what began with the S3. Offering an even wider performance envelope, the S5 features numerous cutting-edge advancements in a substantially larger package, while maintaining the elegance the S Series is renowned for.

Our materials science research in the properties and applications of carbon allows the M2 to feature a new monocoque enclosure. Similar in construction technique introduced in the M6, it is formed using multiple layers of carbon fiber adding up to a 3/8” thickness. Similar to the external shell of an F-35 fighter jet, this enclosure construction compared to machined or extruded aluminum parts increases the structural strength-to-weight ratio by a factor of 60, while reducing overall weight by 50% and yielding outer dimensions that are 30% smaller without compromising internal volume. The curved interior and exterior walls minimize internal standing waves and eliminate external diffractions.

The M6 is a floor standing, three-way, five-driver loudspeaker design that establishes a new pinnacle of engineering and design vision at Magico.

Since the release of the M-Project in 2014, Alon Wolf and his engineering team have worked to expand upon the ground breaking designs that were first introduced in the critically acclaimed product which included the application of carbon side panels.

The new M6 represents the culmination of such efforts and a major advance in loudspeaker design. The most compelling aspect is the six-sided, monocoque enclosure sculpted of ½” carbon fiber, leveraging the latest Aerospace materials and technologies. Similar to the external shell of an F-35 fighter jet, this method of construction increases the structural strength-to-weight ratio by a factor of 60, while reducing overall weight by 50% and yielding outer dimensions that are 30% smaller without compromising internal volume. The M7 was conceived by Founder and CEO Alon Wolf as a more accessible version of the semi- active M9. The Magico engineering team was tasked with creating the all-passive M7, capable of sound quality never before achieved in a speaker of its size. Magico leveraged tools such as a Klippel Near-Field Scanner and a Polytec Laser Doppler vibrometer, among many other advanced tools, along with two decades of design experience creating the industry’s most advanced speakers. The result of the M7 development project has stunned Magico engineers. In the final phase of development in the Magico listening room, the M7 proved to be far more than the sum of its considerable bill of materials.

A summation of Magico’s no-holds-barred assault on the limits of dynamic loudspeaker design, the new Magico M9 establishes new benchmarks in musicality, transparency, and fidelity. This four-way, six-driver floor standing system features the world’s first loudspeaker enclosure to combine inner and outer skins of carbon fiber with a revolutionary aluminum honeycomb core. Included with the M9 is a state-of-the-art analog outboard active crossover, the MXO. Designed in-house, this carefully crafted unit handles bass/midbass frequency separation. In addition, the M9 benefits from Magico’s latest generation of Nano-Tec speaker cones, featuring Aluminum honeycomb cores. The result is a revelation, a loudspeaker that can present intense crescendos with unconstrained power yet reproduce the most delicate musical passages with transparency and stunning micro dynamic detail.

The state-of-the-art MXO analog active crossover originally conceived and designed for the M9 loudspeaker system (@ 120Hz fixed) and is now also available with high/low pass filtering (@ 55Hz fixed). Implementing the same MXO platform, this purpose-built version will benefit end users worldwide who demand the ultimate performance in sub/main integration. The MXO provides extremely transparent high/low pass filtering which relieves the main loudspeakers of the punishing low frequencies below 55Hz and sends extended low bass information to the powered subwoofers. This level of analog upper and lower range signal management improves transparency and resolution in the main loudspeakers and allows the powered subwoofers to seamlessly integrate with the main speakers.
